After the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the College of Administration and Economics was established on 7/21/2009 with its two departments (Statistics and Economics). The college began its duties on 8/1/2009, and one floor of the College of Science building was allocated to the college’s administrative staff, in addition to allocating two halls. Two courses for students, as the college receives students who graduate from preparatory studies in its scientific and literary branches, and the college awards a bachelor’s degree in administration and economics.

The College of Administration and Economics adopts a scientific methodology and institutional work within clear standards and plans to achieve lofty goals in the academic and training fields and within the requirements of quality assurance and academic accreditation to ensure achieving a competitive and ambitious position through the provision of skills and knowledge.

- Achieving the university’s mission of providing facilities for continuous improvement of the quality of educational performance at the various stages of education to provide distinguished education within a comprehensive framework for quality assurance.
- Preparing distinguished and qualified scientific human resources to carry out administrative, accounting, economic and statistical functions .
- Providing administrative, accounting, economic and statistical consultations and programs for the public, private and mixed sectors .
- Preparing scientific research within the disciplines of the College of Administration and Economics.
- Building a partnership with the community through communication and conducting courses, seminars, conferences and bilateral agreements that serve the educational process .
