The College of Management and Economics is holding an awareness campaign entitled “Suicide Prevention”

Under the patronage of the President of the University, Professor Dr. Tahseen Hussein Mubarak, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Assistant Professor Dr. Nizar Maan Abdul Karim, the University Psychological Counseling Unit, in cooperation with the Student Activities Division and the Government Media and Communication Division, held an awareness campaign to distribute informational brochures entitled (Suicide Prevention), under the supervision of Professor Dr. Sanaa Hussein Khalaf and with the participation of Assistant Lecturer Walaa Ahmed Khalaf.

The campaign aimed to raise community awareness among students about the dangers of suicide, spread a culture of hope and optimism, and emphasize the importance of seeking psychological help and communicating with specialists when facing crises.

The campaign included volunteer field activities within the college, such as distributing awareness posters with messages of psychological support and positivity.

It also involved displaying informational signs addressing ways to prevent negative thoughts, raising student awareness of the importance of social support and communication with others, and providing brief guidance on how to cope with psychological stress.
