As part of Diyala University’s efforts to develop its infrastructure and urban development, the
 President of the University, Professor Dr. Tahseen Hussein Mubarak, inaugurated the Leadership
 Building this morning, Thursday, April 23, 2026, in the presence of the Legal Accountant, Dr.
 Qaisar Ghazi Zughair Al-Saadi, Vice President of the Federal Financial Control Bureau, and Mr.
 Bilal Sabah Hussein, President of the Iraqi Trade Bank.

During the opening, the University President affirmed that this step comes within the Universit
y’s plan to develop infrastructure and enhance the educational environment in a way that contri
butes to raising the quality of academic performance. He congratulated the college’s staff on t
his important construction achievement, which is a successful start to completing its facilitie
s in a way that achieves institutional integration and is an important step in supporting scien
tific research and the digital transformation that the college has witnessed.

On behalf of the University Council and all members of the College of Administration and Econom
ics, he expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Dean of the College and to the implementin
g body for their efforts in completing this project, and especially to the management of the Ir
aqi Trade Bank for its contribution to supporting and furnishing the building with the digital
 technology that the college has witnessed.

The University President honored the Vice President of the Federal Board of Supreme Audit and the Chairman of the Trade Bank of Iraq with the Shield of Creativity and Excellence.

This opening achieved the fourth (quality education) and eighth (decent work and economic growt
h) goals of the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals.
